Listen To The Music
Last week Managing Director of Leesman, Kyle De Bruin, presented Leesman’s latest report titled “Rhythms”. Like Kyle’s presentation at the Corenet conference the other week, it was brilliant.
The Rhythms report “captures the evolving rhythms of employee behaviour in a hybrid working world, aiming to increase the understanding of three core rhythms shaping today’s work-life: Rhythms of commute, Rhythms of presence, Rhythms of work”.
I have been a huge follower of Leesman for years. After all, as an active tenant representative why wouldn’t you follow the research of one of the world’s biggest workplace experience databases. It’s independent, insightful, draws from a huge pool and is consistent. It is not overlayed or overplayed with the noise that affects most other research. And they are great people as well.
My highlight was not any of the excellent findings, but an image. The image showed numerous dials and knobs, resembling a sound studio. It struck me because it depicts the CRE industry to a tee.
Many participants still think workplace and leasing processes are simple, but that is not the case. Experience shows it has actually become harder in many ways. To get the workplace right, everyone must turn the knobs and dials to achieve the perfect sound that works for all while representing respective clients.
Thank you Leesman for a great presentation as always. It was a great way to round out the event season.
